2012年韩国丽水世博会是继举世瞩目的2010年上海世博会之后的最新一届世博会,在上海世博会中作为广东官方五馆之一的潮府馆因出色表现被选为韩国丽水世博会中国饮食唯一代表。这也是世博会历史上中国第一次将中国饮食和文化独立建馆展示。

在韩国丽水世博会的93天中,【中国国家饮食馆-潮府馆】不负众望,接待人数达200万人次,接待包括上海市长韩正等各国部长级以上贵宾200人次以上,并圆满完成十一个省区市活动周任务。并在联合国以及中国贸促会支持帮助下联合世界十几个国家发起成立世界饮食文化协会(IGCA),令悠悠中国5000年的饮食文明通过世博会飘香世界。本次世博会结束之后,全世界认识了潮府馆,更进一步认知了中国饮食文化。在即将到来的2015年以“饮食”为主题的意大利米兰世博会上,潮府馆被国家赋予带领和组织中国全方位的饮食文化在欧洲展现的重任,中国饮食将在届时书写灿烂和辉煌!

Following the Shanghai World Expo of 2010, the 2012 version was held in Yeosu, South Korea. Chaofood, one of the five Guangdong halls at 2010 World Expo, was chosen as the only representative of Chinese food on account of its outstanding performance in Shanghai. It is the first time in World Expo’s history that Chinese food and culture are shown in a separate hall.

During the 93 days of the exhibition, the success of the “Chinese National Food Hall – Chaofood Hall” was beyond all expectations. Visitors were around 2 million, including the mayor of Shanghai, Mr. Han Zheng, and VIPs from everywhere. Eleven provinces and cities of China held activities in the hall. With the help and support from UN and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) a dozen of countries established the International Food Culture Association (IGCA). Thanks to World Expo, 5000 year-old Chinese food culture – as well as Chaofood - were made known throughout the world! “Feeding the planet, energy for life” is the theme chosen for the 2015 World Expo to be held in Milan, Italy. Chaofood has been asked by Chinese authorities to represent Chinese food culture in this European exhibition. Chinese food will show its glamour!
